Monument to the Heroes of the Fight for Independence after 1945 and Solidarity
In the Spiritual Capital of Polonia in the USA, in American Częstochowa, the Monument to the Heroes of the Fight for Independence after 1945 and Solidarity will be installed. It will be placed in the cemetery next to the Smolensk Monument, the Monument of General Władysław Anders, the Soldiers of the Unbreakable, opposite the Hussar-Avenger.
The ceremonial unveiling of the monument is planned for the end of September 2024.
The construction of the monument is undertaken by the Smolensk Katyn Committee (Smolensk Disaster Commemoration Committee Inc – SDCC Inc.). The contractor for the monument is Kulinski Memorials from Manville, NJ.
