    On Thursday, a special celebration was held in the Polish consulate in New York. The event concerned the admission of sergeant Speck to the Polish Army Veterans’ Association in America. The Veterans’ Association, SWAP, is a more than 100-year old Polish organization launched by Polish Americans who contributed to the gift for Polish independence in General Heller’s army. SWAP cherishes these traditions and brings together all Polish American veterans.

    On August 18, 2020 Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick (R-PA) asked the U.S. House of Representatives to bring Congressional recognition to the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of Warsaw, and join him in honoring and celebrating “the Polish soldiers who bravely fought not for just the freedom of their homeland, but for the liberty and justice for all.”
